Glue-free wallpaper: easy to install, stress-free, and beautifully revamped walls!

You see the term “prepasted wallpaper” popping up everywhere, but what exactly is it? Because when you say it like that, it may mean something to us… or not! Prepasted wallpaper is an innovative type of wallpaper that completely eliminates the need to use glue when hanging it.

And how, you might ask? On its unprinted side, the paper is covered directly with a layer of glue, in solid format, which allows, after being activated with water, to stick your wallpaper directly on the wall, without any additional effort.

Who would have thought that one day, a special beginner wallpaper would be made and well thought out? Because wallpaper has been hanging for decades. First done by master wallpaperers, then by painters and then by individuals, more and more people are getting into wallpaper hanging.

But if you have never installed one, or if a past experience went badly, you remain skeptical about the subject, and you cannot get rid of this complicated installation. With pre-pasted wallpaper, installation is child's play!

After preparing your wall, so that it is smooth and clean, don't forget to take the level of your wall in order to lay your wallpaper "straight". Then, spread your strips on the floor, unprinted side facing you. With a spray filled with water, spray your strip. Don't hesitate to put a lot of water, and don't forget the edges.

Once your strip is all wet, you can put a finger on the paper (if that reassures you), to check that the glue is active. Finally, you can take your strip, and place it on your wall. The marouflage step is necessary, but very quick, just to remove the small air bubbles.
